ZecRail is proud to announce the release of the 2012 ZecRail Christmas Train!
Consisting of a custom painted Victorian Railways 'Type 1' DD class tender locomotive, with matching Victorian Railways rolling stock, the ZecRail Christmas Train is here to bring Christmas cheer, and Santa Claus, to your Trainz routes.
The train is made up of a VR Type 1 DD class locomotive, VR G Carriage Truck for Santa's sleigh, VR M cattle trucks to carry Santa's reindeer, VR U Louvered vans filled with presents, VR AB first and second class passenger carriage, VR BB second class passenger carriage, VR 'AA ' first class passenger and Santa carriage, and VR 'ZP' guards van.
With Santa traveling in the first class AA car, you can carry him, his reindeer, sleigh, and hundreds of presents for the children along your Trainz railways.
The DD class locomotive comes painted in a high detail 2 tone Christmas Green livery, with red and gold leaf pin striping, and polished brass boiler bands, dome, and pipework, with a lid headboard on the smokebox and a Christmas Tree on the top of the boiler. All rolling stock also features 'billboards' painted in green with red and gold leaf pin striping, featuring Merry Christmas messages for all who see this distinctive train pass.
With over 10,000 (ten thousand) Christmas Lights at night, this train will also be very distinctive after sunset. This includes both flashing red and green lights (these slowly turn on and off), and static white lights. The headboard on the locomotive also features flashing red and green lights.
Also included is a full session for the Christmas Train on the Mojave Sub route in Trainz Simulator 12, complete with AI trains. Please note, this session requires Trainz Simulator 12, the Settle and Carlisle pack, as well as one of the Duchess Class, PRR T-1, Aerotrain, or Coronation Scot DLC packs. The remainder of the pack is fully compatible with Trainz Simulator 2009 SP2 and newer.
