Full Details ZecRail is proud to announce the release of the 2013 ZecRail Christmas Train! Consisting of a custom painted Victorian Railways 'Type 2' DD class tender locomotive in the colourful ZecRail livery, with matching Victorian Railways rolling stock, the ZecRail Christmas Train is here to bring Christmas cheer, and Santa Claus, to your Trainz routes. The train is made up of a ZecRail/VR Type 2 DD class locomotive, VR G Carriage Truck for Santa's sleigh, VR M cattle trucks to carry Santa's reindeer, VR U Louvered vans filled with presents, VR I wagons for extra coal and large presents, VR AB first and second class passenger carriage, VR BB second class passenger carriage, VR 'AA ' first class passenger and Santa carriage, and VR 'ZP' guards van. With Santa traveling in the first class AA car, you can carry him, his reindeer, sleigh, and hundreds of presents for the children along your Trainz railways. The DD class locomotive comes painted in a high detail 2 tone Ivy Green and Purple livery, with blue and gold leaf pin striping, polished brass boiler bands, dome, and pipework, and patterns 'polished' into the paintwork, with a lit headboard on the smokebox Christmas Tree on the top of the boiler, and with flags and ferns on the buffer beam. All rolling stock also features 'billboards' painted in green with red and gold leaf pin striping, featuring Merry Christmas messages for all who see this distinctive train pass. With over 3,000 Christmas Lights on the locomotive and tender at night, this train will also be very distinctive after sunset. This includes both flashing red and green lights (these slowly turn on and off), and static white lights. The headboard on the locomotive also features flashing red and green lights, and the Christmas Tree has lights in all different colours. Note, names will have ' BG', ' SG', ' Ten BG' or ' Ten SG' at the end of the name to indicate broad gauge/standard gauge variants, and the tenders. 'Physique' based coal load animation in tender, giving realistic deformation as coal is used Automatic Numbering Script on all vehicles, with 'Unit' numbering on the locomotive and tender (tender number will automatically match the locomotive's number) Animated flags on the front buffer beam Snow mesh, using the 'snow altitude' function in Trainz Scripted exhaust smoke effects, based off regulator and cut-off Scripted and animated air compressor, with sound and smoke effects Scripted steam and sound effects including injectors, and blower Install Instructions Open the confirmation email (may take up to 48 hours to be sent) Download the 'rar' file from the download link in the email Use a program such as WinRar or 7Zip to extract the cdp file(s) from the rar Drag and Drop the cdp file into the Trainz Content (content manager) window OR In Trainz Content, click on File, then on 'Import Content File', then select and 'open' the cdp file If any assets show 'missing dependencies', right click and click on 'list dependencies recursively' Right click on any assets that are shown as 'available for download', and click on 'download' Click on the drop down box at the top, and click on 'Open for Editing', then select all assets and click on 'revert to original' or 'revert unsubmitted edits'
