ZecRail was created by Zec Murphy in 2005 to produce high quality content for the N3V Games (previously Auran) train simulator Trainz. Now using many advanced techniques, ZecRail is producing freeware and payware content based upon the Victorian Railways in Australia.

Into the future, we are looking to develop content for N3V's coming train simulator using the new 'PBR' materials, and investigating projects for the HO scale model railway community, with a focus on earlier Victorian Railways prototypes.

Born and raised in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia I have had an interest in our railways for much of my life. In particular the history of the Victorian Railways, which is reflected in my Trainz content. I am active participant in several Victorian heritage railway groups, including Puffing Billy (mainly the museum at Menzies Creek), and an active railway modeller in HO and 0 (0n30) scales.

I am a self taught 3D artist, 2D artist, and model builder, also with much assistance from many in the railway community. My other interests include photography (landscape, street, and macro/close up mainly), restorations, and sci-fi and fantasy books, movies, and TV.

I am also currently the helpdesk operator for N3V Games for Trainz, providing assistance for getting Trainz going, or answering any enquiries.
